Replaced

The project Replaced, which received its world premiere at EXPOSED, is dedicated to the memory of first love and the feeling of ‘replacement’.

Through a film, adapted for the museum’s immersive theatre, and a series of photographs combining staged re-enactment and autofiction, the artist – one of the leading young figures on the international contemporary photography scene – reconstructs a relationship that lasted over a decade, exploring the fragility of the romantic myth and the disorientation that follows its end.
