Torino 4×4 is a photography project that combines art and social commitment to portray the city through its virtuous realities: systems capable of generating traction and inclusion even on “difficult terrain” and in situations of social fragility. Curated by Marco Rubiola and François Hébel, the initiative stems from the synergy between CAMERA Torino and Fondazione Boscolo, in collaboration with PiazzaSanMarco. The exhibition is set up in the courtyard of Palazzo Carignano. This debut marks the start of a mapping of the territory that will continue in 2027, intertwining the work of four photographers with four social realities:

Hackability: a non-profit organization that co-designs technological solutions and aids for the autonomy of people with disabilities and the elderly. Photographed by Deka Mohamed Osman.

Insuperabili: a network of inclusive soccer schools for athletes with disabilities, which promotes sport as a tool for multidisciplinary growth. Photographed by Fabio Bucciarelli.

Nove ¾ (Fondazione Gruppo Abele): a center dedicated to supporting young people (aged 16-25) in conditions of social withdrawal (Hikikomori). Photographed by Marco Rubiola.

Progetto Tenda: a cooperative active in welcoming refugees, victims of trafficking, and homeless people through the Housing First approach. Photographed by Enrico Gili.
