Dummy Awards 2026

The first edition of Dummy Awards of EXPOSED Torino Photo Festival in collaboration with Witty Books, closed with 323 submissions from around the world.

The jury has unanimously awarded the victory to Giulia Fegez, struck by the extraordinary maturity of this work. The personal theme transitions from the private to the universal precisely through the physical form of the dummy, which is visually highly impactful. Given the project’s solidity and execution, the jury firmly believes it deserves to find its natural evolution in book form, thus becoming her first publication.

It will be curated and published by Witty Books and added to its catalog. The editorial process will continue throughout the remainder of 2026, and the book will be presented during the 2027 edition of EXPOSED.

The jury also awarded three special mentions: for the projects, they went to Emile Kees for Meteorites and Andrés Solla Carcedo for A River Without Bridges; the third, for the book format, went to Luca Capuano for Land Index.
